Which players have appeared in the most games for each of the major league franchises (this is different then who has just worn the uniform since that would incorporate sitting on the bench, and even being a coach or manager) This likely will mean that all of these will be position players, but there may be a pitcher or two that surprise. One guess by each member each day. Ok I have done the homework for this, and can narrow it down by confirming that no pitchers are involved, most are obvious, but there will be around five or so that will require some knowledge. I will be extremely impressed if anyone gets Clevelands without looking, heck I'll be impressed if they even have heard of the guy after looking.

HA, just ban me now for stupidity. As soon as I posted my answer I saw the 1 guess by user per day restriction.
I'll refrain from guessing anymore. Sorry!

Yep, easy one, but not by as much as one would think, only around 120 ahead of Brooks Robinson would would easily lead many other teams list.

Mariners - Edgar Martinez Padres - Tony Gwynn Rockies - Larry Walker Cubs - Ernie Banks Yankees - Derek Jeter Giants - Willie Mays Marlins - Mark Kotsay Pirates - Bill Mazeroski Tigers - Ty Cobb Indians - Jim Hegan Right on the Mariners, Padres, Cubs, Yankees, and Giants. Rockies really you should be kicking yourself. Marlins is the right direction, Pirates Maz is top five and they are the only team that has a tie for first, Tigers Cobb is second by 28 games. Hegan is top five for Cleveland and is at least within 100 games of the top slot.

I kinda thought Hegan would be it for the Tribe, I'll have to think on that one a bit.

I have never heard of the Tribe games leader, the guy in 2nd place behind by 5 games though was a pretty big deal in Cleveland. One of the few players really that could lay claim to being at a time the true face of a franchise in every sense of the word.
Cleveland and the Mets were really the only two that I don't think I would have eventually got without looking. There are plenty of others that would require multiple guesses, those two though no likely wouldn't happen. Most of the players involved of course are great players that have had long careers usually with most of the time being spent with the team in question.

The Tigers isn't Cobb. That's interesting. I guess that instead of going for one of the remaining obvious ones, I'll guess Hanley Ramirez for the Marlins.
