Signed for 2014: RHSP Jair Jurrjens
The 28 year old Curacaoan made his major league debut back in 2007, since then he's made 126 major league starts in 758 innings with a line of 53 W's - 37 L's - 6.0 K/9 - 3.1 BB/9 - 8.8 H/9 - 3.99 ERA. Over the past two seasons however he's managed only 55 innings of 6.63 ERA baseball.
He would earn as much as $800,000 if he makes the big league roster this season.

Signed for 2014: LHSP Matt Maloney
Maloney was originaly drafted by the Phillies in the 3rd round of the 2005 draft and was later traded to the Reds for Kyle Lohse. He's pitched in 31 major league games with the Reds and Twins over the past five seasons. After battling back from Tommy John surgery last year he had to take a job with the Independent Somerset Patriots, 5 starts later the Reds deemed him healthy enough to get back into organized ball.
