This is going top be an insane playoffs. With spurs already beating suns in 2 ot. Also, seeing how good Chris Paul realize is tonight was fun to watch. It will be interesting to see who wins it all.

I agree, the west is really going to be insane. I am a huge Utah fan from the John Stockton days so I hope they come out of the west. I really only watch the NBA during playoff time, but had to pay more attention the last month cause it was exciting.

Same here, I used to hate watching the NBA. I have started to during the playoffs because of how exciting the west will be.

There is only one way the NBA can redeem itself to me this year....
Chris Paul and the Hornets in the NBA championship. If I have to deal with Kobe or Duncan, I'm going to scream.
Hornets/Celts would be pretty cool.

The NBA is nearly unwatchable until the playoffs, and even then it still doesn't seem like they are trying half as hard on defense as college teams do.

March Madness >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>(x400) NBA The NBA needs another Jordan, but all of their attempts keep failing.... We've seen some pretty Jordanesque (Jordanian?) performances out of LeBron James. Put Jordan's supporting cast around him and he might show us his full potential... Anyway my Cavs maintain a comfy 2-0 lead over the Wizards as of today...Bring on the Celts, I say. We played them pretty well this year.

Lebron still doesn't have his Pippen. Get him another consistent All-Star and the Cavs could go on a big title strecth a la the Jordan Bulls.

Exactly. When the most dependable player behind you is Zydrunas Ilgauskas (don't get me wrong, I love Z), it's hard to be too Jordanian.

Good points, but I'd stick with Jordanesque.
Basically, the NBA needs a good dynasty that doesn't bore anybody.
Lakers/Celtics - 80s Bulls - 90s
The Spurs and Lakers of the 90s/00s don't count because the Spurs are boring and the Lakers became semi-villainous.

Lakers look awfully tough with Pau Gasol who is better as a 2nd option, who makes Odom better as a 3rd option.
Chris Paul is blowing up too for the Hornets.
In the East it will either be the Celtics or the Cavs

Another problem for LeBron is that he plays in Cleveland. Not a supercity like Kobe's LA, Jordan's Chicago, etc. Hard to build a dynasty in smaller cities, although I suppose the Spurs are proving it can be done.

Its not the same this year for Lebron. The East now has the Celtics. I do not see a good enough TEAM to beat them in the East. West who knows
