Its not the same this year for Lebron. The East now has the Celtics. I do not see a good enough TEAM to beat them in the East. West who knows Lebron does have a slightly improved supporting cast this year. If Wally is on he can rain some 3's, Varajao and Gibson are more experienced and it shows, and Wallace can D up on some of the good PF's.

I do agree with that, but I do not think they are good enough to beat the Celtics, ecspecially after tonights game.

has anyone been paying any attention to the NBA playoffs. I'm not a big basketball guy but I do pull for the Celtics. I cant for the life of me understand how they are looking this disfunctional in the playoffs when they can absolutely be a dominate team. the championship is theirs to lose. lot of cavs fans on this board ??

Of the remaining teams. I am probably rooting for them in this order:
Hornets Celtics Cavs Lakers Jazz Spurs Pistons
Stern is aching for a Celtics v Lakers final. Boston and LA would get the biggest ratings in years.

The rivalry renewed and old feelings would be great and restore a lot of passion in the game of basketball that has been missing tradition for awhile.

I want to see a Hornets/Celtics Finals.
Stars of the past decade vs. THE star of the future decade.

I'm a Cavs fan by default (wish Cincy would acquire an NBA team, but we know that'll never happen), so I'm pullin for them today. Hopefully LeBron plays the way we know he does when he faces elimination....

Games like yesterday are why its conceivable Lebron could leave Cleveland (albeit I think he won't purely from a PR standpoint, he would be despised by a lot of fans and the chants of sellout would follow him the rest of his career). He just had no help out there and he desperately needs a good young start to be his Pippen.

No help ?? delonte west is a very good point guard, gibson and wally can knock down the threes and big Z is one of the best big men in the league. on top of that u have great veteran presence and the defensive mind of ben wallace. it makes it hard when LeBron is shooting 40 times a game though to spread it around. and if they called a freaking travel on the kid EVER it wouldnt hurt either. just my opinion though

Ben Wallace isn't the Ben Wallace of 3-4 years ago, Delonte West and Daniel Gibson are 5th and 6th options at best, and there is a reason why Wally Szcerbiak has been traded 374 times.

I'm not a Cavs fan but I agree with Duke
Big Ben is not the same Big Ben. And he is making 14,500,000 next year...more $$$$ than LeBron West is a good backup PG Gibson is a nice shooter off the bench Z is a good C..not great but good
LeBron needs more help.

Good day to be a Bulls or Heat fan. The Bulls should probably think long term and take Rose, even though Beasley would probably make the team better next year than Rose.
PG: Heinrich SG: Hughes/Gordon SF: Deng PF: Beasley C: Noah
or
PG: Rose SG: Hughes/Gordon SF: Deng PF: Gooden C: Noah
They should tank next year and hope they can get BJ Mullens
