Love the Game Day Thread. The Player to watch is a nice touch and I have no idea how you get the text to scroll. Nicely done!!

the funny thing about this one was that the cubs had so many hits it took mlb an extra hour or so than usual to update all of their stats and figure out who did what. i like to do that the night before so when the lineup is released i just have to tweak little things. ill post a how to for the scroll in the appropriate section. i just keep playing around with things and learn little by little the capabilities of proboards

This would be my lienup vs. the lefty.
1. Hopper, CF 2. Dunn, LF 3. Keppinger, SS 4. Phillips, 2B 5. Votto, 1B 6. EE, 3B 7. Freel, RF 8. Valentin, C 9. Volquez, P

Here is the lineup as per CTR:
1. Norris Hopper CF 2. Ryan Freel 2B 3. Ken Griffey RF 4. Adam Dunn LF 5. Jeff Keppinger SS 6. Edwin Encarnacion 3B 7. Joey Votto 1B 8. Paul Bako C 9. Edinson Volquez P
Interesting in that we are playing 4 lefties of the 8 positional starters, but two of them are hot (Votto, Bako) and the other two are supposed to be our biggest offensive threats (Griffey, Dunn)

Good idea on giving BP a break today. I know he doesn't want it from what he has said in the past but it makes sense today. It would be nice to have a healthy Gonzalez available. It would also be nice to have Cabrera or Hairston for the bench. I'm starting to believe in Hairston despite his poor numbers the last few years. He's been extremely consistent as has Cabrera (in ST and AAA). I still don't think we'll see Bruce for quite a while.

Bruce is in AAA until on eof Griff or Dnn gets hurt for an extended period of time or if we manage to trade one of them. I have a dang meeting @ 2 so i'm going to miss the first hour or so of the game

No Phillips, weird against a lefty, but hes been slumping so maybe a good move

He's awful against Lilly in his career too.
I just turned it on WGN and apparently the game's on there, so tune into 700 WLW and watch it on mute on WGN (I hate Len and Bob, they're idiots) however, there is a delay in the TV broadcast.

It's shocking to me that EE's OBP is .351 (before the popout) when he's hitting so poorly.
Maybe we're exaggerating Dunn and EE's slumps?

I think that only 15 games in that we should give EE and Dunn a little longer. I know we are paying DUnn for power, but he has over .400 OBP and that will go up once he starts hitting, which it looks like he might soon.
