Double switch? Votto stays in at first and the pitcher takes Hatte's place?

This move is about respect for Fielder and Braun who won't get to face Fogg a third time.

Man, there's a lot of work left to be done by the bullpen. I would've liked to have seen Fogg work a bit deeper.

Pretty tough call. I thought he would bat with that pitch count and 4 innings left but I think mixing it up for the meat of the lineup is something that we didn't do last year and it bit us a few times. Of course, the bullpen was frightening last year. Lincoln or whoever will have to do the job to make Dusty look good, especially because the insurance runs didn't come in.

It's an interesting point, but are our middle relievers better options against Fielder, Braun, and Hall than Fogg? I don't know.

Tough to say but I always feel like the best of the best (like Pujols) are the guys that seem to get the hang of the starter the third trip through. Lincoln did a great job there. Maybe, we can get 2 or 3 out of him.

Valentin's gotta look at some more pitches there. He never seems to be patient enough. Let's see if Lincoln can throw some more grounders.
