The Reds really need Dunn and EE to step it up, they are killing the offense right now.
Here is how I would modify the order based on how people are playing right now:
1. Votto, 1B 2. Keppinger, SS 3. Griffey, RF 4. Phillips, 2B 5. Dunn, LF 6. Patterson, CF 7. EE, 3B 8. Bako, C
Make that the EVERYDAY lineup.

My lineup for right now:
Patterson Encarnacion Griffey Phillips Dunn Keppinger Votto Bako
Edwin's getting on base, so I don't mind having him at #2, plus I think he'd benefit a great deal from lineup protection. Also moving Kepp at 6 puts him behind Dunn, meaning Dunn will get better pitches to hit.

With these two pitchers, tonight seems like it could be a 9-7 type of game.

Agreed, Keppinger is a very good #2 hiiter.
Now, if we could just find a lead-off hitter...
With Fogg, going I'll just go ahead a chalk up another "L" sadly. We should never have signed the guy. Give the ball to Bailey.
The batting the pitcher eighth worked very well last night for Yost, maybe we should try:
1B - Votto SS - Keppinger RF - Griffey 2B - Phillips LF - Dunn 3B - Encarnacion C - Bako P - Fogg CF - Patterson

The way EE is hitting we should bat him 9th.

My card CF Patt speed, pop, ok avg. SS Kepp hit and run guy, avg. versatile hitter 2B BP power, speed, avg. RF Jr. typical cleanup hitter LF Dunn HR guy low avg. needs to get hot 1B Votto hits the ball hard 3B EE .083 avg. needs to get hot C Bako
I know I got the RH bats and LH Bats bunched together but I like BP in the 3 hole and Votto batting behind Dunn. I hate to say it but this lineup could be better next season with Jr. gone assuming that Dunn and EE put up the #'s. Something that's not happening so far this season, Dunn and EE aren't producing the way they should. You can do the R L thing with this lineup if guys can produce. If not then move some guys and put the best nine guys out their. I don't like messing with the lineup but something has to give soon. If the guys were producing who should be producing we wouldn't be having this conversation but their not so hear we are. I say give it time, maybe another week until we get Gonzo and Ross back then make some changes if need be. Dunn in my mind is the one that has to start hitting over EE because we can replace EE with Kepp or whoever but Dunn's spot is key in this lineup. GO DUNN SO GO THE REDS!

Freel hits over .400 off dave bush. Kepp is either near or over .400 for the season. Let Freel sit in the 6 hole, then you hope he gets to second and Hatte can wake up and drive him in.
