Bearing down to the get the K, very nice.
At what point does Johnny actually issue a walk??? His command is more than a little impressive.

I thought Kepp could have made a better play on that hit if he had took his first step back. As for Dunn, the runner was a dead duck at home if he could have just fielded the ball cleanly.

44 pitches, so far -- not at all bad.
I liked Cueto's perserverance there.

He didn't even put a ball in play at 4 trips to the plate yesterday

should have gotten out of that inning without giving up any runs but it's 1 run their not going to get to many more of those off of Cueto. We need to get the bat going. I feel Votto is due he had a good first AB.

people will pay attention to the brewers
I also want to apologize to Lark for bringing up Barry Larkin's history of being a slow starter again ( like 8th time on these boards )
I will admit I didnt grow up with Barry like many of you did and all I saw was the Larkin injuries and high salary and wanting a trade after the Jeff Shaw thing and rememberin we almost dealt him for Rey Ordonez and I just dont think as high of him as most do because my memories of him was clouded unfortantley. I did enjoy his last season and how well he did and I do respect him as one of if not the greatest red of all time but I do tend to take a unfair shot at him.
Sorry

Sorry lol Thanks, but it's not necessary. We all have our favorites!! On his career, he hit .270/.364/.398/.762 in March and April, which was his worst month(s).

Man, Dunn (.130) and Edwin (.091) really aren't helping us out. Let's hope the weather warms up soon!!

EE is having another bad April it seems.
If he keeps it up, I wonder if there will be any pressure to move Kepp to 3B and demote EE? EE still has an option left.

Fielder is doing exactly that when Dunn's at the plate. Hell all he has to do is fall down. Na he made some good plays their.

We got to get some runs EE should be sent down if he continues to struggle. or at least sent to the bench in place of Kepp when Gonzo gets back.

Hopefully, John can bunt as well as he pitches!
