Actually, sounds like a winning idea to me. Screenname: Lark11 Age: 30 Favorite Current Reds Player: It would've been a slam dunk for Josh Hamilton, who filled a void in my fandom since Aaron Boone and Barry Larkin left, but now I guess it would have to be Keppinger or Hatteberg. All-Time Favorite Reds Player: Barry Larkin, Eric Davis, Aaron Boone Favorite Other Sports: Hockey Favorite Reds Moment: 1990 World Series Least Favorite Reds Moment: The 1 game playoff with the Mets in 1999. That one STILL freakin' hurts. High Scoring or Pitcher's Duel?: Give me a pitcher's duel anytime! Favorite Baseball Play: Diving play by shortstop or a stolen base. Favorite Movie(s): Open Range, Gone Baby Gone, The Sand Pebbles, Road to Perdition, Kingdom of Heaven, Good Night and Good Luck Favorite TV Show(s): The West Wing, Keen Eddie, Due South, Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip, Seinfeld, Frasier, The X-Files Favorite Books: The Fall by Camus, Anything by H.D. Thoreau, Moneyball, Patrick O'Brien's Aubrey and Maturin Series How you got your Screenname: Well, by accident actually. I was trying to find an ESPN log-in name for fantasy sports purposes that wasn't taken and that I could also remember. I settled on 11BarryLarkin11. After a while, I stumbled onto the ESPN Reds board and after lurking for a while, decided to put my toe in the water. I quickly got hooked and that became how I was known on the before before I even realized that my screenname would be my message board identity. After the new format was introduced, I couldn't access that screenname, so I created the shorter version: Lark11. The rest is history. Jersey's Owned: I actually don't have a Reds jersey. The only jersey I do have is a White USA Olympic Hockey Jersey with 39 Weight on it. At some point, I want to get a throwback Larkin jersey. Favorite Sports Memorabilia: A Payne Stewart Autograph. Anyway, there you have it. Feel free to add whatever categories you want.

Screenname: TheDuke Age: 27 Favorite Current Reds Player: Aaron Harang All-Time Favorite Reds Player: Barry Larkin, Bo Diaz Favorite Other Sports: Football Favorite Reds Moment: 1990 World Series Least Favorite Reds Moment: Signing Mike Stanton High Scoring or Pitcher's Duel?: Pitchers duel, I appreciate the excellence required Favorite Baseball Play: The suicide squeeze Favorite Movie(s): Gladiator, Indiana Jones, The Quiet Man, A Life Less Ordinary, Casablanca, Master and Commander Favorite TV Show(s): Lost, 24, Big Brother , Chuck, Cheers, The Unit, House, Heroes Favorite Books: Patrick O'Brien's Aubrey and Maturin Series. Read the books before the movie came out, all 20 in about a 6 week period, they were very addicting. My favorites of the sereis were Master and Commander, Post Captain, HMS Suprise, The Fortune of War, The Reverse of the Medal, The Letter of Marque, and Blue at the Mizen. How you got your Screenname: High school football nickname Jersey's Owned: None, albeit I am thinking about getting a Chinedum Ndukwe Bengals jersey, or maybe a Bengals jersey for the 2008 1st rd pick. Favorite Sports Memorabilia: Barry Larkin autograph, Cal Ripken Jr home run ball from his last season (unsigned unfortunately)

Screenname: jake2bake4 Age: 21 Favorite Current Reds Player: Gotta be Brandon Phillips. All-Time Favorite Reds Player: Barry Larkin is the greatest. Favorite Other Sports: College basketball and now college football with UC stepping up. Love the Bengals but they are the most aggravating team in the history of sports. Favorite Reds Moment: Adam Dunn's walk off grand slam or Ryan Freel's crazy dive onto the warning track to rob Pujols. I was there for both and they were amazing. Least Favorite Reds Moment: Losing the one game playoff to the Mets. Horrible, horrible day. Griffey tearing his hamstring the first time in Spring Training would be second. High Scoring or Pitcher's Duel?: Pitchers duel is the best when you are watching on TV. If I'm there, I want to see a game along the lines of Reds 8, Cubs 7. Favorite Baseball Play: The double play or hit and run. Favorite Movie(s): Knocked Up, Wedding Crashers, Ferris Bueller's Day Off, American Gangster, Office Space, Goodfellas, Casino, A League of Their Own, Grandma's Boy, A Christmas Story Favorite TV Show(s): Heroes, 24, Weeds, Dexter, How I Met Your Mother, Burn Notice, The King of Queens Favorite Books: Harry Potter Series, The Giver, The DaVinci Code, The Audacity of Hope, The Old Man and the Sea How you got your Screenname: My first name is Jake and my last name is Baker. The numbers are Griffey's while in Seattle. Jersey's Owned: I own Dunn's Sunday jersey from two or three years back. With the white and black piping down the front and on the sleeves. Gonna get another one this year, most likely Phillips but I'm not sure home or away. Very tough decision. Favorite Sports Memorabilia: I have random stuff signed. Probably my favorite Reds thing I have is the blanket they handed out last year with Mr. Redlegs on it and Brandon Phillips signed in the bat area. Hangs up nice and big on my wall here at Ohio University. Indians fans hate it cause it dominates my room its so big.

My name is Josh. I enjoy being a GM in simulation leagues. I am working my way to becoming a GM of a baseball team ( Reds hopefully ) In which case I will bring Lark on as a special advisor and Star on as my Minor League Director. I left ESPN Message Board because people I actually enjoyed talking with left and people like Kramer, BengalBen and Bip became the main posters. I support the Reds, Bengals, Cavs and Ohio State and Toledo. My best friend goes to Toledo on a football scholership so I have to support him and his team. I am a huge Brandon Phillips fan and belive he will get the C on his jersey for this team in the near future. I also like Edwin Encarnocion and wish they would just let him play. I liked Josh Hamilton a lot and still do but also understand why he isnt on the team anymore and see the talent that Volquez has. I support David Bailey, Edison Volquez and Johnny Cueto and think it is too early to say any arnt what we think. I have become a loyal supporter of Steve Andrade thanks to Lark. Not sure what else to say. I am very diverse in my selection of shows and also get critized a lot for them. I am not ashamed to say I like certain shows. 1. One Tree Hill 2. Young and the Restless 3. Burn Notice 4. Survivor 5. ESPN NEWS 6. John Adams ( HBO ) 7. The Tudors ( SHOWTIME ) 8. Wrestling ( TNA and WWE ) 9. ER 10. Pros vs Joes 11. Smallville 12. The Big Bang Theory 13. Jericho I love American History. I have a myspace www.myspace.com/theguru89Names on ESPN Boards-> 1. theguru89-> This was my main name and somehow it got stolen from me about a year and a half ago. I am not sure how someone got the password and then changed it to where I could get on anymore. I filed a complaint with ESPN and tried to get it back but never did. Whoever took it still uses it and I dislike them very much. 2. realguru89-> This is the name I started posting under and became somewhat known. I think Star and Lark will know me not sure about others. 3. GMBurchfield-> My name for the last 5 months or so. realguru89 was banned because I told a Boston fan he was a homer when he try to say they raped us in every deal they ever did. His examples was Dante Bichette for Chris Reitsma and Willy Mo for Bronson. Anything else just ask

Me and the wife watch One Tree Hill, she's a pretty big fan of the show, and i've enjoyed it in the past, but I think it has taken a sharp downturn in this new season. It's almost comical at points where it is trying ot be serious. It's a shame that it has taken such a downward spiral after the great first two seasons, and pretty good seasons 3 and 4. They should have just ended it after season 4 with them graduating and left it unmarred.

His examples was Dante Bichette for Chris Reitsma and Willy Mo for Bronson. Anything else just ask Hey, burch!!! Good to see ya! I was wondering what happened to you. Unfortunately, that's why I left ESPN too. The board dominated by negativity and a few people stamping out any possibility for quality discussion. I've never had a problem with posts that are critical of the Reds, but that's not the same thing as outright negativity. I love differing viewpoints, but you've gotta have a respectful environment to have a good discussion board. Anyway, I love the Big Bang Theory and I'm excited to watch John Adams, which I've got on TIVO. I've never gotten into the Tudors, but that's the kind of show I like, so I'll have to check it out. As for Andrade, I can't believe he doesn't get a shot somewhere. At the very least, he could be a good 7th man in the bullpen, but I think he's could be a solid 7th inning guy. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem like he's ever going to get a legit shot. Anyway, welcome aboard!!! We need all the quality posters we can get.
