VERY VERY SAD DAY, I LISTENED TO MARTY AND JOE MY WHOLE LIFE, BASEBALL WAS MY ESCAPE FROM REALITY, THE MOST PEACEFUL GAME TO ENJOY. NOW THANKS TO JOEY VOTTO FROM CANADA AND OTHERS BRINGING POLITICS INTO THIS HAS RUINED BASEBALL FOR ME FOREVER. I GAVE UP NFL, NOW SADLY TODAY I GIVE UP ON MLB. MY FATHER WOULD HAVE A TEAR IN HIS EYE IF HE WERE STILL ALIVE. IT WAS A GOOD RUN, BUT MLB HAS CHOSEN A DARK AND GLOOMY PATH. GOOD BYE FOREVER. MY TEARS ARE OF JOYFUL MEMORIES THAT WILL NEVER BE REPLACED. AND THANK YOU BIG RED MACHINE AND ALL VALUABLE PLAYERS THAT MADE CINCINNATI GREAT.  |

Well, this portion of the site is a work in progress, as I'll be trying to improve the aesthetics of it, but it's perfectly functional as of now. I'd love to get this message board up and running with some quality back and forth discussion, but it may take a while to get enough active, interested posters to make it worthwhile. A blog is fun, but it's the never ending discussion that truly makes baseball great. Anyway, put your feet up and make yourselves comfortable. If you spirit moves you, then feel free to start chatting about the blog (I'm sure I said something brilliant or stupid (yes, I know, more likely the latter) or just baseball in general. As it stands, you DO NOT need to register to post on this message board, rather just hit reply and you're off to the races. That may change in the future if this board gets popular, but for now it isn't required. There are things members can do that guests cannot, so I'd recommend registering (which is very quick and requires a simple e-mail verification), but you can join in the discussion without doing it. Unfortunately, unless I want to pay for this message board, you will see some Ads if you are using Internet Explorer, but if you use FireFox it should filter them out. So, as with the blog, I'm not making money off this site, so any ad revenue generated goes straight to the people who allow use to us this message board free of charge. Anyway, the boys of summer are back and the Reds should be very entertaining this year! |
