So far, so good for Edinson. Two innings, two Ks, and two baserunners allowed.

Well lark I have to ask, What is your opinion early on on volquez ? Iknow you hated the Hamilton trade but you have to admit the kid has nasty stuff !

It is so nice being able to read about young pitchers and not high profile pitchers ( not yet ) without having to see a Kramer like post saying how it was a fluke and this and that.
With that said is it correct to assume that Volquez is more of a strikeout pitcher than Cueto? Im not saying Cueto cant get the K's but everything I have read has Eddy V as more the dominate K gettin pitcher.

I'm not going to beat the Hamilton drum this season, because it would get old and it's not going to going to change anything, but I still hate the trade. On the season, Hamilton is at .316/.435/.684/1.119. I still would've preferred to see Edwin dealt and Hamilton kept. If we weren't even going to start Bruce at the MLB level this year, then there was no need to deal Hamilton away to clear up the outfield logjam. Patterson's presence just makes the trade even harder to swallow. Hamilton could have been penciled in to play center.

I like what I see from Volquez so far. Going against a very good hitting team and after 3inning of work...

How is Volquez look for someone who can not see. I was hoping with no Cavs I would see this one but of course FSN can't show it in the mix of Indians and Reds land.

KEPPINGER Could this be that offensive game we was waiting on? I picked Kepp up on my fantasy team last night droped Orlando Hudson to get him so he is having a good day for me.

I wonder how much Cueto and Volquez having the other on the same team pushes them.
