There we go Bako
your little upgraded from a scrub to a below average player
Coffey did "OK" I guess but Ill always expect more for how often they use him and the credit he is given

Managers love Coffey like Kyle Lohse . They see the great arm and think they can fix them. a diffrence the these two is that Coffey had a good year. To my knolage not Loshe. Nice Play Bako. I must confess, I like him too. The guy gets a hefty number of strikeouts and a TON of groundballs. He **SHOULD** be exactly what we need in the bullpen.

Coffey doesn't walk too many, strikeouts a plethora, and racks up groundballs like they are going out of style. I just don't get why he isn't more effective!!!!

that is why I put in Coffey has had a good year. He is frustrating for me is that I do like him but he must get back to where he was in 06 befor being moved to the closers role.

It may help his mechanics and stamina, but it's too soon to tell. Hell, maybe he just needs someone to call a better game for him. Who knows??

If Coffey can maintain a 4.5 ERA, then that is an upgrade for the bullpen over last year.
Edwin, 2 E's in 2 games. Damn. Wonder if Rosales or Gil starts out playing 3B in AAA? At least until AGon gets back. Need a backup plan.

I am always going to expect more from Coffey because the managers use him so often that I would expect him to be rock solid.
Anyone else think of the pitcher batting when they announce Paul Bako? If I was a opposing pitcher I would not fear him at all.
Im actually worry now, I thought Kent Mercker was going to be a lefty specialist. But if it works use it I guess.
