Very well done, love the format, and that you even have games back in the wildcard after 1 game

It's going to be a tough one tonight. The D-Backs are loaded with good, young talent and Danny Haren is one helluva pitcher. I'm hoping that Arroyo can take advantage of the aggressiveness of the young hitters and keep them off balance with a healthy diet of breaking balls.
As for Haren, I'm not sure how to get to him. In theory, it's easier to transition to the NL from the AL, than vice versa. However, he did have a lot of things going for him in Oakland, like a massive amount of foul territory, a pitcher friendly ballpark, and a top defense. So, maybe the transition won't be quite as smooth as expected. At the very least, it'll be an interesting plot line to follow.

Wow man that is a pretty awesome setup you got going. I have one question though. Is that the actual lineup for tonight or are you just speculating based on Monday's lineup? I was hoping Votto might get to play tonight against Haren. Not that I don't like Hatteberg I just don't get why Votto is on the roster if he is going to ride pine most of the time. Send him to Louisville if that is indeed the case.
Thats one thing I am looking forward to on this board. Having an open thread for games to talk to other Red's fans with.

I look for Haren to have a tuff game and Bronson to be average
5-6 innings
3-4 runs
3-5 k's
2 bb's
for Bronson
4 innings
5-8 runs
2 k's
2 bb's
for Haren

If you look just at Haren's career against the Reds and Arroyo's career against the D-backs, we win tonight.
Arroyo is around a 5 ERA I believe it was and Haren is around a 6 ERA.
That said, both will go at least 6 innings IMO.

Good to see Votto in there, and while Bako still sucks, at least he is an improvement defensively over Valentin.

Q: How bad do we suck at catcher?
A: We are anxious to get David Ross back from the DL.
Damn
Minor league games start tomorrow. Hopefully Tatum can hit like .600 over the first month and get moved to AAA and then the majors. I know there is 0 chance of this happening, but I can dream can't I?

I really want that picture as my background. Any way we can make that happen? I've seen a couple from the Reds website but I love this picture at the top.

Both line ups are set, I'm hoping arroyo can start the year strong because i think our offense may struggle again tonight. Hopefully Vottoa makes a strong case to be our everyday 1B and seizes the opportunity. It may be difficult playing off and on however thats my only concern. I'll be checking in tonight but gotta keep an eye on my boston bruins too lol only 3 regular season games left. Go Reds!

I got a good Over/Under for ya:
Over/under 3.5 people commit suicide watching Bronson's JTM commercial.
I'm taking the over. It's gonna be like a cult mass suicide by the all star break.
