I'de draft him based on his potential. If he doesn't work out, then we will have a lefty who can throw in the upper 90's off the mound.

Anthony Hewitt is one of the Vandy commits but he does have A LOT of tools. Tons of upside and could fall due to signability.

I take the best available player no matter what position
There should be a solid player there. IN rd 3 chances are its a college bat as the highschool guy could go to college.

The BoSox just got a steal with Casey Kelly at #30. Why did it have to be the BoSox? I can't root for the BoSox!!!!

The Indians drafted a guy, Lonnie Chisenhall, who was arrested on charges of burglary and grand larceny. Interesting choice, to say the least.

Tim Melville is falling hard, while the Yankees show the draft process' biggest flaw in taking Cole.

Well the draft is not deep so we better hit one out with the 3rd rd pick because after that its all about scouting as the talent falls off.
hat being said the Reds scouting department is one of the best in baseball IMO so maybe we do a good job in the later rd's

Does the time alloted for each pick decrease now that we are out of the 1st round?

I like Scheppers. Idc if he is hurt.
By the way question for some one who may know: Cashner throws constantly 96-97 and only gets a 70 grade. What do you have to throw to get an 80? 100+?
