Now i'm a Systems/Database Manager for an Engineering and Consulting firm so I know my way around databases. I created a database where I can enter box score information and track prospects totals, individaual games, or periods of time by my choosing by date. I made a seperate part for hitters and pitchers, and included things such as home/away, day/night, opponent, as well as most of the important stats. So far I am looking to track:
Hitters: Adam Rosales Brandon Waring Carson Kainer Chris Heisey Chris Valaika Craig Tatum Dan Dorn Devin Mesoraco Drew Stubbs Juan Francisco Justin Turner Keltaveous Jones Kyle Maunus Michael Griffin Michael McKennon Todd Frazier Zach Cozart
Pitchers: Alex Smit Carlos Fisher Daryl Thompson Josh Ravin Kyle Lotzkar Matt Maloney Pedro Viola Phil VValiquette Ramon Geronimo Ramon Ramierez Raphael Gonzales Rich Gardner Sam Lecure Scott Carrol Sean Watson Travis Webb Tyler Pelland
Anybody I should add, or think I should take off the list for time keepings sake? If anybody is interested just reply with a link to a website where I can upload PDF's and I can show you a sample of a couple reports I made.
I freely admin this is one of the nerdiest things I have ever done, developing this in my lunch breaks over about a week and a half, but I hate trolling websites for totals, and I can do more stuff with date ranges this way.

Here is a sample I have of the Hitting Totals report. I have a seperate one that tracks it game by game with a few totals on the top. www.filefactory.com/file/e94394/

I'd be curious to see Justin Reed, so maybe you could add him to the list. Between you and star, we should have the farm system VERY well covered on this board!!

Justin Reed has been added, here is a sample of the Hitter Game Logs report

I haven't made one yet that filters it by Player, but it will be easy enough to modify this one to do that once I put a little more time into it.

That's actually a really cool idea. One thing I have always loved about baseball is the statistical purity of the game. It's one reason I have always been attracted to fantasy baseball.

My favorite part of it is I can easily see how they have done in a month time span, or two weeks, or their last 10 games, real easy to get different time periods, and even night/day, and home/away. Maybe somebody is a killer at home, but poor on the road, now I will know.

Damn this is pretty cool. Love the time you put into it and once you put the time into it pays off cause this is sweet.
And like bkleo said, the beauty of baseball statistics are awesome. Thats why I hate the Steroids Era so much because it ruined the numbers.

As it stands now, I guess I will be adding Jay Bruce and possibly Joe Votto.
