Can you get something like the MLBTR chat on here? I think that there's a way to have a free chat in that exact same format that you can host on coveritlive.com and you could have a link to it in a post on this forum.

Agreed. Not entirely sure how that works. Is that something that can be added to the board? Or, is that something that exists outside of the board? In the past I ran in game chats with Nick Hurm of the enquirer for cincinnati.com on coveritlive.com. I stopped doing it because there weren't enough people contributing and I wasn't around for every game. But it's quite easy to do if someone wanted to take the time.

It's part of your admin section on the board. You can activate the Chat for the board. it becomes a link at the top of the page. however you have to be registered to use it.

I guess we just click on the "Chat" button at the top of the page during games to have a game day chat. I don't think you embed it into a thread, but it looks like it works.

hey guys, im new to the board. like the creator(s)...i've been a frequent poster on ESPN Reds board. since about 1/2 of them seem to be teenagers (or at least act like it), i've found this board and decided to create an account. i'm not a bandwagoner. this is definetely the most enjoyable season i've had in my lifetime. 1999 was great, but I just wasn't the fan then, that i am now. i'm only 23 yrs old, so Reds success is new to me. I've been a die-hard fan for about 3 seasons now. I'm glad to be here. Hopefully you old timers out there take it easy on me. I'm not much of a history buff. But I love the Reds, and baseball in general. I don't like fantasy baseball, since it makes you root for people and teams you wouldn't normally root for. Baseball is the greatest game on the planet, and the Reds are making for a magical season. I'm happy to join this board, as the Reds make their playoff push, and beyond.

While some of us may act like seasoned vets, I actually think that we've got quite a few people around here in the "arbitration" stage of life still....I'm only 25, and there are quite a few around the same age plus or minus a decade. You won't be singled out for being young, but you might want to start catching up on your Reds history if you want to be able to participate in dcb's trivia questions....Welcome to the board though.
