Volquez  7 IP 5 hits 1 ER 3 BB's 10 k's 104 pitches. should be it for him today on a very very good day with a chance to go 4-0 on the young season |

Done deal. That puts him at 33 putting him most likely in the top 10 range with Harang. Cueto may slide out but I think he'll right himself. Volquez is getting nice run support which could help him get noticed in a Cy Young run (see, I don't believe in jinxes) . K's? Got em. ERA? Got it. Wins? Got 'em. Volquez has only given up 4 extra base hits this season (3 against the Dodgers). That kind of helps in keeping games under control. Let's hope it continues.
