Nothing wrong with Hatty but we need to trade him. We dont need 2 lefty's at 1st and Votto has now showed his time is now to paly everyday ! Trade Hatty for prospects and bring cabrera up for the bench!

As long as Votto starts every day I have no problem with Hatte as a veteran leader and bat off the bench.

The thing is Hatty has trade value why let him rot on the bench when we could get something for him now ? I jsut dont see the need for a lefty off the bench to be honest. His trade value is still kinda high right now let him sit on the bench for tro long it goes down imo.

He's also helping coach along Votto I'm sure.
That said, we don't have space on the roster for a coach.

Javy doesnt look good at all this year so far.
I have no problem us trading Hatteberg. I just want to make sure we get something of value.

We traded conine for Henry and Castro...Both are hitting well in AA rigtht now. Neither are top prospects they are fringe prospects but you just enver know they could make it. If we could get a deal like that I do it.....In fact I think we get a better palyer then that to be honest. we could get a b level pitching prospect with plus upside.

Expect your toys are prospects
You want more and more no matter what cost i wonder sometimes
I think we can compete this season, With that said if we give up a vetran player who is a good lefty off the bench this early in the season there is no way we are going to get enough value. The later the year and the more the need is there for other teams the more we will get.

Is there really that much need for a lefty off the bench ? I mean really we are already lefty heavy. If anything we need more righty's on the bench to PH late in the game. I do like to stockpile young talent though.....I will admit that. The more b level prospects you can get the greater chance on of them makes it. That and I dont see the need for a lefty off the bench. We can bring Ross up keep Bako and use Valentin as the lefty Ph anyway. One reason why Valentin struggled is he was palying to much. As a ph only going against righty's he would do fine. I am fine with keeping 3 catchers if Valentin is only used as a PH. To be honest at this point thats the only reason to keep hatty.
