A decision has to be made on Mr. Ross. Tonight is the last game he can play on his rehab assignment, so let me ask:
A) What do you think Kriv will do?
B) What would you do?

A) Bring him back up.
B) Bring him back up and send Valentin down.
Valentin's bat has been dead, and he is not a viable option behind the plate. Bako is an adequate hitter and good pitch-caller, so I see no reason why he shouldn't be higher on the depth chart than Javier Valentin.

It will be Hopper
He is the odd man out ( for some reason )
If we can move Freel then we need to pull the plug.

I tend to agree it will likely be Hopper as he has options left. If it were up to me, I'd deal Bako while he's hot. I'm satisfied with a Ross/Javy combo. Bako is doing much better than expected, but he is not even a .240 much less a .310 hitter. www.baseball-reference.com/b/bakopa01.shtmlI'd think we could deal him to the Mets, Yanks, Padres, or Rays.

I actualy think it should be Hopper so he can get every day at bats and try to get back into the swing of things instead of rotting on the bench. Hairston will obviously get a pretty good chance to prove himself after last nights hit fest.

Well, Kriv won't be doing anything other than cleaning out his desk.

If Krivsky does anything with Ross tonight, I would be particularly curious about it...and appaled by it...
