Maybe pitching consistently after Belisle and Fogg will help him get his confidence back...

Still not sure why Bray was sent down in the first place... He tweaked his shoulder coming back from injury and they want to make sure he is 100%.

Still not sure why Bray was sent down in the first place... He tweaked his shoulder coming back from injury and they want to make sure he is 100%. Oh, ok. Somehow I missed that. I knew he was coming off injury last year but I didn't know something had happened more recently.

It wasn't major, he just over-compensated in his return this spring from injury and it didn't feel right, so they gave him a couple weeks off, so he started in AAA. At this point, he says he is fully comfortable with his shoulder, and he has been sitting at 92-93 with movement on his fastball. He is just treading water in AAA at this point.

As Coffey hopelessly drowns in the majors... I think this next inning will provide a lot of info on what we do w/ Coffey and/or Bray in the short term.

My man Todd Coffey now with no runs allowed his last 5.1 innings pitched. Ive said all along the guy has definately got the stuff just has to get his brains in order. He worked so hard this off season to do well and get the fans back on his side I'm rooting for this guy big time. and I personally love the running to the mound, old school baseball...
