Philips pop up again
Freel should not have tried But knowing him, his thinking I have to do __________ to have a chance to play again with in the next 5 days.
Still should not have gone.

LA has some good young hitters. Martin, Ethier, Kemp, and Loney. That's a good group of young players to build on. I would like to see Phillips, EE, Votto, and Bruce turn out to be as good a group as this one. The D-Backs are the same way, they have some great young players. I can't wait until the Reds go young. Considering we have some great young pitchers to go with the players mentioned and some players who I didn't mention that are in the minors. I would enjoy this beat down a lot better if we had the young guy's in their learning.

I would enjoy this beat down a lot better if we had the young guy's in their learning. Minor league players don't benefit from being in there "learning" in blow out losses. All they learn is how to be losers. The pressure builds and the player gets worse instead of better. It's better to work in one youngster at a time so the pressure can be on the veterans. Quite frankly, we need some better veterans, rather than more youngsters.
