Seriously, just GO AWAY, Bonds. And, unbelievably, the Union is actually going to press his case? If memory serves, Bonds isn't even a member of the Union. Unless I'm mistaken, at his peak, Bonds didn't feel the need to even retain his Union membership. Bonds destroys everything he touches, so it's not exactly a stretch to say that each team came to the conclusion individually that he is toxic and would bring more negative than positive to the team.
But hell, just keep waiting by that phone, Bonds. If there is any justice out there in the cosmos, Bonds won't be signed by anyone.

Completely agree, this would have happened 2 years ago if the Giants hadn't been riding the money train to the home run record. He is the definiteion of clubhouse cancer. Thankfully the Reds already have their power hitting sub par defensive left fielder.

Fans wouldn't care if the team was winning. Some AL team really should take a shot with him, especially if they are running out some bench player in the DH slot. I think the Mariners should sign him, could be the difference between them winning the ALW and them staying home.
Bonds > Vidro

I just couldn't imagine rooting for him though. Bonds playing for my team? I'd be pissed. I've hated the guy for so long it'd be hard to root for him. If it were some other guy I hated and the Reds signed him I would easily start rooting for him. Bonds? Different story

Bonds > Vidro I've heard the Rays may be interested after the loss of Rocco to injury....again.

I thought that I heard that they were thinking about it but stopped any talks because they decided they didn't want that kind of clubhouse distraction/cancer/primadonna around all their young up and comers.

With his court date being pushed back to where it won't affect the 2008 season, someone is going to sign him. Probably at the deadline when needs can be assessed. Hes too good a hitter to not sign him as a DH to win a World Series. I'm just like all of you and wish he would just go away...but we know that isn't happening.
