And, the Reds medical staff:
An MRI showed that Alex Gonzalez still has a fracture in his left knee. When Gonzalez was hurt in February, it looked like he'd be back right about now. However, with the fractured still not having healed, he won't be allowed to run for at least another two to four weeks. That makes Jeff Keppinger the Reds' shortstop through late May anyway. It's also good news for Edwin Encarnacion, Joey Votto and Scott Hatteberg. Source: Cincinnati Enquirer
It can't really be that difficult, can it?

If it means keeping Keppinger in the lineup, he can keep resting his knee. lol
Any idea what was wrong with his son last year? I know A-Gon missed a lot of time to be with him.

There's no way he rehabbed properly....he had to have jumped back into it too quickly. That doesn't make sense...

Wow, I just read this on Kepp's fantasy blip. This sucks, I don't want to have to rely on EE so heavily.

I'm killing in fantasy right now without Granderson and Putz. But I had a rough start tonight so hopefully I can bounce back.
How many teams are in your league? I wouldn't drop Hughes yet. I came close to dropping Kennedy but he turned in a good performance tonight until he got hurt. If you're in a shallow league, then maybe I'd drop Hughes. But trading Oswalt wouldn't be a bad idea at all. I'm trying to deal Thome who I got really late, but I'm beginning to understand why lol. He's on his last leg.

Doesn't it seem like we have more unusual injuries and unexpected developments in our rehab than other teams?
I really question the competence of our training staff and team doctors.

It's time to DFA Castro and callup Jolbert Cabrera. Give him some starts at 3B and let he and EE push each other. Maybe some competition will get some results from the 3B spot. Not to mention that if they really want to not start Votto or hatte against a lefty, then Cabrera can play 1st and we can leave Kepp at SS.
