I wanted to check and see what you all thought about my fantasy moves today...I made a couple of them.
1. Dropped Edwin (who I picked up 2 days ago for Joba) and picked up Evan Longoria.
2. Dropped Julio Lugo and picked up Kepp (I am 2nd in my roto league in steals, getting plenty of them but my BA, HRs, and RBIs are really rather low)
Any thoughts?

It depends on league size and scoring categories, etc. Personally, I think Lugo stinks, so dropping him is rarely going to be a bad idea in my book. As for Edwin, I'm expecting more inconsistency and frustration. Personally, I'd rather have Longoria, though he may end up performing like Alex Gordon from last year. All in all, sounds like two moves I would make. |

All in all, sounds like two moves I would make. Lugo gives me a good amount of stolen bases if I keep him for the year, however I don't need the extra SBs, I need the AVG and hitting production. (I have Willy Taveras, David Wright, Gaydy Skidmarks, and Chone Figgins who all have plenty of speed) It's a 10 team league w/ only one utility hole (used for DH Hafner) as well as a 1B, 2B, SS, 3B, SS/2B, 1B/3B infield. Between EE and Longoria, they'll miss out on the majority of playing time anyway, being pre-empted by Wright and Figgins. I have considered Votto instead, but I think Longoria has so much more up-side that he was worth it. |

I like Kepp a lot for fantasy if he gain 1b eligibility. I got him a week ago now in hopes that Dusty keeps putting him at 1b.
I also picked up Ludwick. He showed some flashes last year, and I think he's ready to have a solid season.
Longoria also showed tonight that he can really hit the ball, unfortunately someone drafted him in my league.
I'm also keeping my eye on John Bowker for the Giants. He's been killing the ball so far.
