lol
Give it time you will.......You mentioned bringing in patterson as a Dusty move something you did not like BUT so far C patt is more then solid. In fact dont be shocked if he does not have a 30/30 year in 2008. In a perfect world her would be hitting 6th though. maybe we can somehow get a leadoff hitter and sign Patt to a 2-3 year deal soon. How about We let Dunn walk at years end and go after willits to play LF and bat leadoff. We can then sign patterson to a 2 year deal or so and have this outfield for 2009.
Willits LF Patterson CF Bruce RF

Willits LF Patterson CF Bruce RF I'm still not a fan, but at least he's not abusing the arms of Cueto and Edinson. As for Patterson, I think he'll cool off soon, but he's given us a much needed hot bat in the first week or so.

I also was not the biggest Dusty fan when he was hired, but so far I have been pleased. I have been happy with how he is handling the staff, cause that was my biggest fear. I also did not want Patterson, cause he did not seem to me to be a good leadoff hitter, or at least the kind I prefer. So far I am happily wrong, and am very pleased with his production. I agree he may need to move down in the order sometime soon, but I would gladly take a 30/30 season!

Star, looks like our boy C-Patt is doing some serious damage so far! Really valuable to have a leadoff man with some power when the bottom of the order can get on So far he's been great in every aspect.

JMO, but Baker doesn't have a clue as to manage game situations. Starts and sticks with 4 left handed batters against 3 lefty pitchers tonite while we have 3 right handed batters on the bench and watches as we score no runs. Last game Cueto pitches in,with runner in scoring position and 1 out and down by 1 run, lets Cueto bat[instead of pinch hitting] and then pulls Cueto after only facing 2 batters in bottom of inning.......STUPID,bonehead managing cost us both games.

Problem is that C-Pat is a Boras guy and a 30-30 season means JD Drew type money, maybe more.
It would be easier keeping done.
