Bray went 11/3 last night with 3 Ks, 1 BB, and 0 runs. If he keeps pitching like he has to beginthe year down there, he will be back before long.

Yeah, but who goes then? Affeldt will be with the team all year, barring trade. And I can't see Mercker being let go right now, he's pitching pretty well.

Lincon, Coffey, Mercker, Weathers, Affeldt, Burton, Cordero
That's the pen as of right now, I would think either Bray replaces Lincon or we look to trade Weathers.

The guy we should lose is Coffey; then we'd have three lefties and three righties.

Believe it or not, Coffey has pitched relatively well so far.

Operative words there are "so far."
Actually, the bullpen has been pretty good so far. Weathers has been the worst, but that's because of last night.
Who'd have thunk our bats would be the problem so far?

Who'd have thunk our bats would be the problem so far? With Patterson, Bako, the notoriously slow starting EE I was a little worried. Patterson has done well, and so has Bako, but EE is worse starting than ever, an ice cold start from Dunn negates the plusses of the other two, and little of our hitting seems timely (outside of Kepp)

Bray is 2nd in line behind Belisle so it would take 2 people to get Bray up.

True, Belisle is out of options.
I have a feeling that Belisle will be traded as soon as he comes off the DL. With all the pitchers going down with injuries, somebody will want him.

I feel like the bullpen is really solid right now, but if there is a weakness it is probably Coffey, possibly Affeldt. Another great performance by Lincoln tonight along with Mercker, so it seems to me like Coffey is the shakiest, and Bray could potentially replace him.

It wouldn't suprise me if we were now thinking about trying to deal Arroyo and Freel for a good catcher. Harang Cueto Volquez Fogg Belisle That puts a lot of pressure on the young guns, but they seem to have been thriving under pressure so far.
