Just a question about a player that I have not personally seen play but hope star or somebody has. The catcher Covina. I know he got a lot of time in spring training with Ross's issues but I do believe I saw he was at Louisville and saw he collected 3 hits last night. I thought from what I saw stick wise in the boxscores, he sported a decent bat in spring training.
Catcher is definitely a position we could use some help to bridge the gap until Morresco gets here but for those who have a read on this Covina kid, what are his strengths and what are his weaknesses or areas of opportunities?
