Apparently, the Reds and Royals are talking about a Jonathan India for Brady Singer swap:
I'm not a huge Singer fan, so I'm not wild about this idea. That said, that may be just about what India's trade value commands.

I think that's about max value we can get for India unless we roll the dice on prospects. A SP coming off a sub 4 era season with 3 years of control in his prime with 3 straight 150+ IP seasons seems like some quality.

Yeah, I think that's probably true, though per Cot's Contracts, as of now, Singer has 4.156 seasons of service time, while India has an even 4.000 seasons of service time. So, it would be a swap of two seasons of control for each. That said, I'm not sure I wouldn't prefer some kind of package of prospects over Singer. Would it be better to pay less in player/prospect capital and more in salary? Either in free agency? Probably not. Or in trade for an established and expensive veteran? Sonny Gray? Jordan Montgomery? Maybe.

It is only two years, I read something wrong. Still worth it for a pitcher in his prime imo.
