Looks like great entertainment. I had never heard of Banana Ball, will check it out.
I did come up with something slightly similar but haven't really fleshed it out (and might not be the first to suggest it), but would basically be like baseball mixed with a card game, where the teams draw cards and get to use them during the game. First few that came to mind were:
Reverse the direction of the bases (so first base would be where third is) Remove glove of opposition player/players. Give opposition a tiny bat. Fielder must pitch an at-bat (switching positions with the pitcher). Hitter must hit from the opposite side. Start with 2 strikes or 3 balls..or grant 5 strikes/10 balls or similar variant. Bonus outs. All ground is fair (excluding stands/dugouts). Fielder must use catcher mitt at other position. Hitter must wear ankle weights Skip 1st Base on batted ball - (watch out pitcher!) Must bunt.
Plenty of injury potential - that's half the fun!

Was kidding, I don't enjoy watching that kind of stuff. Twitter has an awful lot of brutal videos (fights and such), some is newsworthy, but hard to watch. The extreme sports/skater type accidents hurt my body the most to watch.
I was mostly acknowledging that as a factor in making up such games. Baseball has it's predictable structure, and varying from it would create injury risk. That there might be people willing to take on that risk (within reason) for pay and entertainment, is pretty likely. Of course not legit or future ml players.

I was just joking with you, I appreciate you not taking offense, and taking your ball and going home. I don’t think rotten.com even exists anymore, I can remember back when the Internet was in it’s infancy a few of my buddies were sitting in my office looking at these just awful pictures, of people either dead, dying, or gruesome injuries just giggling and laughing, and I was thinking “what the fuck is wrong with you guys” There was two pics , and once you see it you can’t unsee it, the one was this poor guy who evidently was riding a motorcycle that crashed and his face from his eyes down were gone. And he was still alive, I doubt he lived, but if he did he wasn’t pretty anymore that’s for sure. The other picture was a guy who was powerlifting at an event and blew his asshoel out. Literally looked like he had 5 lbs of ground beef blown out. Did I mention you can’t unsee that Fecal Matter?
