I fully expect no response. But by adding 'nothing to see here' I got two. not reds talk, no a barb thrown and a thumbs up to that.
I'm going to take my band of sodomites and move on

I'm going to take my band of sodomites and move on Here's a response: Oddly the Reds ranking 12th seems low. Obviously, they need more and better pitching, but their offensive cup doth runneth over. That gives them a very strong foundation for the present and future. They have a lot of cost-controlled assets and should have cash available to bolster the weak points on the roster. And, of course, Elly gives the team more sizzle than just about every other team out there.

Steer deserves more love.
He has almost identical numbers to Carroll of the Diamondbacks as a rookie, and he is being talked about as a potential MVP candidate, but Steer has no love, barely from our own fan base.
All Steer does is produce over and over again.
Spencer Steer deserves that same love that McLain, Cruz and Abbott are getting.

He may surpass Caroll w/ his stats for ROY.

So unless Carroll gets hurt, and as baseball fans we aren’t rooting for that, and Steer keeps up his pace I can’t see him surpassing him. I actually think the rookie on our team due to the voters love for WAR isAndrew Abbott. If he was to finish around 12-3 with an ERA around 2 that would get voter attention. Not enough probably but close.

Due to Carrolls popularity, I'm hoping Steer can pass him in BA and HR to have a good shot of winning. Steer is good defensively too. If Steer does surpass Carroll in those two stats, do you think Carroll would still win?

anxious to see Encarcion strand join the team also. This completes the rebuild. Every position new face. the veterans being stevenson and india. REally refreshing. I have a question. Do the people of Cincinnati refer to the city as 'Cincy'? I do not remember that when I was growing up around there. I thinks that's new maybe.

It does and I'm excited for it also.
I refer to Cincinnati as Cincy or Cinci sometimes. I heard it referred to that before I moved here in 98.

I am 47 and been around here most my life, I have always referred to it as Cincy. Most the people around my area refer to it as Cincy. It all depends on the context of the conversation on whether you give the town its proper name, Cincinnati. We are going to Cincy this weekend for the festival. If you are looking for a good deal on a car, you should go to Cincinnati and check those dealerships. Can you come pick us up at the airport, our plane arrives in Cincinnati around noon. Did you want to go to Cincy this weekend to catch a ball game? Cincy is kind of the casual way to refer to Cincinnati depending on the tone of the conversation with me and my friends I guess.

Has a team ever won the World Series with a bottom 5 starting pitching staff?
