Camden Yards and the Baltimore Orioles are in full support of sexual immorality and in direct opposition to Christ and His Word. God created the rainbow and it wasn't for that purpose, but Jesus did say, "As it was in the days of Noah, so shall it be at the coming of the Son of Man." The Lord rebuke that brazen rebellion. LOL WOW

They even have a sodomite Orioles flag in the Reds dugout! They only believe in shoving it down everyone's throat 😡 Kind of like Priests with altar boys. Am I right? It was nice of God to call so many Sodomites to become leaders of his church.

Reds players should pray about refusing to play under those conditions. The Christian players could discuss it among themselves and may decide to stand together while everyone else bows down. This board is supposed to be about the Reds, not religion or politics, so I've tried to bite my tongue here out of respect for Lark's vision of this board, but this might be the single dumbest post I've ever read on this forum, and I've been here since the beginning.

This is about the Reds. They played on a field covered with sodomite pride. If they hadn't done it, I wouldn't be talking about it.
If you have an aversion to politics or religion, take it up with MLB b/c they include both. However, if you don't like it, you don't have to participate.
Feel free to sit this one out. But no, that's not what you want, is it? You probably don't mind pride flags flown in our faces during ballgames. You just don't want anyone to be allowed to say anything against it, especially if it's b/c God calls it an abomination!

I honestly have to shake my head at the things we choose to care about. Or, more properly, the things we are conditioned to care about. It's just sad. Why so much hatred for fellow men and women? Why so much concern over what consenting adults choose to do in the privacy of their own homes? What harm does the mere existence of gay people in the world cause to those who oppose them? Why are so many people just so clearly afraid of gay people? There is so much pain and trauma that comes from trying to be something other than who you are. Just accept people for who they are. Tolerance and acceptance are such incredibly powerful things. And, they are limitless. There's not a finite supply. We're in no danger of running out. So, why withhold it from anyone who is doing no harm? It takes so much energy to hate; it takes so little effort to accept and love. Why choose the former instead of the latter? What a sad and exhausting way to live. The sad and historical reality is that there are certain people and organizations that seek to enrich and empower themselves by exploiting the meaningless divisions that exist among people and in society. By exploiting those divisions until they become fractures, they can turn one group of people against another group of people. In truth, there is no real practical difference between people on a race, gender, sexual orientation, or sexual identity level. Those differences are largely meaningless and certainly nowhere near enough to serve as the basis for hatred. People are people. They want to pursue life, liberty, and happiness. They want to love and protect their families. They want to work and contribute to the world. They want to pursue their passions. These are universal qualities that are not limited to certain races, genders, sexual preferences or identities. So, why focus on meaningless distinctions and differences rather than the things that everyone has in common? Do people who hate gay people simply not know any? It's difficult to believe that such hatred could be based on personal experience with gays and lesbians. For any members of the LGBTQ community who are members, posters, or just silent readers of this forum, you are accepted and welcome here. I don't hate gay people. I hate the sin of homosexuality. My heart goes out to the people, but the homosexual agenda is a very dangerous one destroying the moral fabric of our society. God does not create anyone homosexual. That is a demonic spirit. The homosexual agenda is in direct opposition to our most sacred God-given rights protected by the US Constitution. The freedom of religion and the freedom of speech may be lost if we don't resist. I don't expect unbelievers to acknowledge this or care these days, but for those who want to honor God and secure his blessing upon our nation, we have a duty to stand for truth and righteousness.

Maybe you don't realize that pedophiles specifically target places like Catholic churches, working at Disney Land, working at daycares etc specifically to have exclusive access to children? Jesus warned us of wolves in sheep's clothing.

It's difficult to believe that such hatred could be based on personal experience with gays and lesbians. For any members of the LGBTQ community who are members, posters, or just silent readers of this forum, you are accepted and welcome here. The bolded is the key. If it can be reduced to this, by all means, be yourself, love who you want, you are free to answer for your sins the same as me. I am not saying my sins are any better or worse than anyone else is, they are all equal in God's eyes (that is my faith as I am not telling anyone else what to believe either). However, why must everyone else who doesn't feel that way be subjected to that? I don't see a bunch of straight parades forcing gay folks to subjected to that. Or heterosexual flags waving from major league ball parks. But because it has always been the norm previously, it doesn't deserve recognition? I am not saying it does, but I don't think the other side deserves any recognition either. Be with whoever you want as long as they are of age and consenting all you want. We are all subject to answer for ourselves in the end. Someone else's morality is not my responsibility, as I am a pretty good failure all on my own. I am not going to preach up on my soap box when I sin as much as the next person. "Why must everyone else who doesn't feel that way be subjected to that?"Well, generally speaking, I'm not sure the celebration of another group of people to which one doesn't belong is the same as being subjected to something. Maybe it is, maybe it isn't. I don't know. More specifically, maybe it's because we are talking about a group of people who have been persecuted, denied rights, denied their basic humanity. They have suffered violence. They have been oppressed. They have been told their very existence is wrong, a sin, an offense to god and man. All of that needs to be undone. It needs to be undone before we can reach the point where everyone is considered equal and everyone can just live and let live. As evidenced by the existence of this thread, a large and vocal portion of the population isn't ready to let go of their hate and condemnation. Why do they call the movement Pride? I suspect it's because Pride is the opposite of shame. And the gay community has been forced into shame for centuries. The antidote to shame is authenticity; it's living openly and outwardly. To undo the societal, religious, and familial shame imposed on them, they have to live openly and proudly. That's how they slough off the shame. By being present. By existing openly. By forcing recognition, if not acceptance, by society. We don't need heterosexual day or heterosexual flags because every day is already heterosexual day.

You just don't want anyone to be allowed to say anything against it, especially if it's b/c God calls it an abomination! Except, this isn't a religious issue and it's certainly not a political issue. This is a business decision by a corporation to recognize, celebrate, and court a group of potential customers. Political issues require government involvement. This isn't that. And, while you may want to make it a religious issue, it's not that either. While some may talk about baseball fields as cathedrals and baseball as church, they aren't being literal. Baseball is a secular institution. The First Amendment to the United States Constitution has two religious clauses: the "free exercise" clause and the "establishment clause": So, as much as you may want to impose Christianity on the entire country, the Constitution protects people's right to practice other religions or not practice any religion at all. Further, it precludes the government from establishing any religion as the official religion. That's why there is a separation between church and state. It's called freedom. But, again, the Constitution protects citizens from government action, not the actions of private corporations. So, this is still not a religious or political issue. You are empowered to worship as you see fit in your individual life, you are not empowered to impose those religious views on everyone else. Why isn't it enough for someone to live their faith in their personal life? Why do most religions feel the need to recruit everyone else to join them? Comfort in group-think? Safety in numbers? Obviously you believe that Pride celebrations have no place at a baseball game, well that's up to the private corporation to decide. If you don't like it, then feel free to stop supporting the Reds and/or MLB. But, notably, most would say that religion has no place at a baseball game. Do Jewish people want Christianity at the ballpark? Do Muslims? Do Hindus? Do Buddhists? Do atheists? I'm not sure why it's your place to declare that religion belongs, but pride does not. It's a big wide world out there and the vast majority of it simply does not believe what you believe.

Jesus warned us of wolves in sheep's clothing. The larger problem isn't that pedophiles likely seek out environments where they are in proximity to children. Obviously, that's a very serious and troubling problem, but the larger problem is that the Catholic Church protected these predators. They didn't expel them from the church. They didn't turn them over to the authorities. Instead, they covered it up and shuffled the predators around to other locations, where the abuse started all over again. The church felt the need to protect itself, the institution, instead of its members, parishioners, believers. That is simply inexcusable. The church allowed these predators to use the victims' religious faith as a weapon against the victims. The church allowed physical, sexual, and spiritual abuse to run rampant within the organization. It existed on a massive scale solely because of the enabling actions of the church.

I'm not a fan of the Catholic church anyways. Constantine created the Catholic church as a pseudo-church he could control politically, which is why it's no suprise Roman Catholics martyred an estimated 50 millions Bible believers during the reformation for wanting to follow the Bible instead of Catholic tradition. The Bible teaches the Pope will be the False Prophet who leads the one world religion to serve the political Antichrist. Unless you're saved, you'll take the mark.

I don't hate gay people. I hate the sin of homosexuality. This is a distinction without a difference. Maybe to you, but it's my position and you're misrepresenting it. Love the sinner, hate the sin. Not love the sinner, love the sin or hate the sinner, hate the sin.
