Suicide squeeze it right here. Assuming Bako can get it down...I thought it was Patterson coming up at first cause I forgot about the double switch.

Why on earth would Rollins even TRY to throw it to first?
That was odd.....but I'll take it.

It isnt like Rollins threw a beamer to first he looked at home and saw he had no chance so he just tossed it to first. Part of playing the game is get the out.
Just his natural thing look for the out at home and then go to first.

Not beautiful but it's a win. Bako and Patterson get game balls. Notice how an off-Harang still puts up a good line.

True, but in that situation the only way you don't lose the game is to get the out at home....I'd be throwing home regardless of how close the runner was.

What was that?? Patterson walks - steals 2nd Keppinger gets him over to 3rd Griffey sac fly. Only if we could do it a little more.... The problem is that three of our top five hitters managed to combine for one run and at that point there were two outs and no one on base. Maybe our pitching will be enough better this year that we can play for one run at a time, but it's too soon to rely on that yet.
