Saturday afternoon game .... lets try and get this thread very active, it makes the games more enjoyable to discuss them in my opinion while the action is going on. some members agree with certain ideas and others disagree but the discussion makes for a very enjoyable game. on a game related note, I'm a little upset that Edinson Volquez gets the skip at start but I'm pretty confident Harang rebounds well and gets a W in the win column.
On a side note - shoutout to Lark for keeping up with these game day threads and stickying them on game days. Appreciate you helping me make these game day threads worth the time and effort so so so much lol. ps Duke, I've been looking for the lines on the games to see whose favored but havent been able to get any yet. If you could give me a site that would help me out or any advice I think it's a great idea to stick in
go reds!

This should be a good game....call me crazy, but I'm a bigger fan of 3-2 games than the 8-4 or other high scoring games....each run means that much more.

That was one of the things drove me up the wall on the ESPN board, as any kind of discussion was bumped to another page by all the game day discussion. Don't get me wrong, I love Gameday discussion too, but it just works better in one thread. So, thanks for taking the initiative and making it so successful!!!

Harang doesn't look right to me. His fastball is only hitting 89, not good. He's throwing alot of breaking balls, what's going on?

Hate David Ross if you want, but if DRoss were in the game, Jimmy Rollins is sitting on the bench right now.

That leadoff spot is so important with 2 through 7 all being pretty well-suited to their roles. I have confidence in Keppinger and Griffey to do the same in the future. I think BP needs to be more selective because Dunn is great protection.
