Woo hoo, time to take our 3rd in a row. Though I'm not sure how comfortable I am with Fogg on the mound.

Fogg didn't start his Reds career off to well.
Fogg: 4IP 5H 6ER 3BB 3SO 2HR 83pitches 47strikes GO:FO 7:2
Reds down 6-4 after 4

He doesn't have the foggiest idea how to get these guys out. Sorry about that.
I don't like using Hopper and Freel early in the game as pinch hitters in case you have a pinch runner need later. They're trying to save Hatteberg but I would've used him there. Plus, Kendrick is right handed. This happened at least once before this year. We need Ross back to have Valentin off the bench. We need Gonzalez back to replace Castro. I am happy that Castro hasn't hit yet.
Patterson SF, nice job there, came close. Keppinger may get us a 2-out hit. Nope robbed.

I don't like the way the Reds have started this season with one of the same problems as last year - not able to get baserunners home. I hate to think how many runners left on base we've had already. The Phils score more runs than any other team because they don't leave runners on base.

Solid outing by Burton no question. Thats a great sign right there.
I think Belisle will take over for Fogg in time. Keep Bailey down untill he is ready. its not even about his stats in AAA its about how he throws. I want him to work on the new slider and his command. The first outing was solid only 82 pitches in 7 innings ! I say keep him down as long as you can !
