I am the last Red to have at least 500 plate appearances in a season and walk more often than I struck out.
Who am I?

Jeff Keppinger? He was impossible to strike out. Ryan Hanigan always seemed to walk more than he struck out every year but I don't think he ever had 500 at bats in a season.

Sean Casey. Wish he would have struck out a bit more and turned his size into more power though. His approach should be used by Hamilton, not for someone his size.

In 2008, Kepp walked 30 times but only struck out 24 in 502 PAs. And you are correct about Hanny -- always walked more than he struck out but never had more than 400 PAs.

Keppinger was released by the White Sox earlier this season. I was kind of wondering why another team didn't pick hit up as a pinch hitter. Wouldn't mind seeing him on the Reds bench.
