The 1970 Baltimore Oriole team that beat the Reds in the World Series had 8 players on that team that managed or played for the Reds at one time in their careers. Two of those players played small parts for the Orioles that year. Those being Roger Freed and Moe Drabowsky. Name the other 6 who played key roles for the 1970 Orioles.

Perhaps a couple of clues are in order here. One of the players was a starter for 9 years in Baltimore and was an all star 2 of those years. The other was a starter for Baltimore for 7 years and was an all star 3 of those years. Wondering how could you remember Crowley and Rettenmund and not remember these guys?

Wondering how could you remember Crowley and Rettenmund and not remember these guys? This is like wondering why some pieces of driftwood make it to the beach to become sculptures...

One of the 2 players won the Cy Young Award during his career. The other won 7 straight golden gloves as an Oriole. In 1977, when Billy Martin pulled Reggie Jackson off the field for not hustling on live tv, the player that replaced Jackson is one of the 2 players in question.

Remembered Paul Blair while I was working out. How could anyone forget he played for the Reds?

For some reason, I thought it was just position players. Mike Cuellar originally signed with the Reds, he's the pitcher...

Didn't Dave Mcnally play for the Reds No. Mcnally didn't play for the Reds. He didn't win the Cy Young either. However, that is a mighty fine guess!

I did mention that he was a starter for 7 years and he was a starting pitcher for 7 years. Perhaps a bit of trickery on my behalf. Thumbs up to you for remembering Terry Crowley and Rettenmund!
