RedLegs - 2014 Organizational Depth Chart.xlsx (64.88 KB) See the attached excel spreadsheet to see the entire organizational depth chart (which contains 315 players as of 7/05/14). It shows their Positions, R/L, Height, Weight, Date of Birth, Age, When they signed their initial pro contract, Signing Bonus, How they were acquired by the Reds, Nation of Origin, etc. I'll do my best to post all of the in-season transactions in this thread (like I did with the offseason thread) and to update the spreadsheet from time to time. ***If you see any errors, let me know and I'll fix it.

I had no idea we had this many international prospects. I assume most teams have roughly the same amount though.
Thanks for posting. Bet that took more than five minutes to put together!

Thank you for doing this. I'm not exactly sure why the organization kept so much filler among the position players that is keeping guys like Winker and Ervin from being in Pensacola where they belong.

Thank you for doing this. I'm not exactly sure why the organization kept so much filler among the position players that is keeping guys like Winker and Ervin from being in Pensacola where they belong. Winker is just 20. I'd say High A is where he should be for now. Ervin I agree should be up a level, but they are still developing Junior Arias as well and seem to want to be giving both of them playing time in CF. None of the AA OF have proven they belong in AAA either. Ervin will move up quickly I think, provided the results are there.

Jon Broxton will be activated to the 25-man roster tomorrow.

Yes, most teams have the same amount. The Reds are actually allowed by the CBA to have as many as 325 players under contract. It may have taken six minutes.

I saw sean buckley is on the DL again, does anyone think his time is running out and could be released soon?

I saw sean buckley is on the DL again, does anyone think his time is running out and could be released soon? I don't see him getting released in the near-near future, not as long as he is needed for roster filler. But after the June draft it is definitely a possibility - 24 year old designated hitters in A ball don't stick around long. The fact that he missed most of last season might give him a slightly longer leash.
