An extremely fast switch-hitting outfielder, I am the only player to have played for both Cincinnati and Lousville when Louisville was not a Reds franchise.
Who am I?

This isn't Vince Coleman, is it?

This isn't Vince Coleman, is it? Yes it is. Coleman played for Lousville Redbirds in 1984 and briefly in 1985 before beginning his ROY campaign with the Cardinals. Bowden signed Coleman as a free agent in the 1985-6 offseason. Coleman appeared in 33 games in LF for the Reds with a meager .155/.237/.226 line before being released in mid-June and eventually signing a minor-league with the Angels. Coleman would get one more shot in 1987 with the Tigers before returning to a brief AAA-stint with the Memphis Redbirds. Hence Coleman is the only Louisville Redbird to have played later for the Reds. (Alan Knicely played for the Reds first and then the Redbirds).

I think you mean Bowden signed him in 95 and he played with the 96 Reds. Though he was about as useful in 86 once you remove the steals.
