Devin Mesoraco hit his 1st HR in Dayton tonight, hopefully this is the start of him picking it up.
Dragons won 5-1, Jeff Jeffords struck out 5 in 2 IP.

He's been in a pretty big slump offensively lately, on the year he is hitting .272, but his OBP is at .353 and he has 15 SB on the year. He also has 11 2B and 4 3B to go with 2 HR.
His defense in CF has been very stellar. He covers a lot of ground and takes great angles.
He is sitll striking out too much (49 times in 43 games vs 19 walks), but I guess I would rather have him strike out than hit into double plays and he is still drawing his fair share of walks. As long as he keeps his OBP high (which he has relatively, if he goes on a hot streak and gets his avg back to .290-.300 than his OBP will be in the .370-.380 range) and steals bases, his glove will be great to have in CF.

Nice to see Mesoraco get it going. Hopefully he builds on it. I'm waiting for Ravin's next start and the arrival of Lotzkar.
