Justin Turner joined Chris Valaika on the bats last night and went 0 for 3 with 2 BB. Turner makes the 2nd Reds prospect to jump from High A to AA, and one has to wonder that if Todd Frazier can keep hitting like he has if he might join them after the all-star break and man 3B/1B with Valaika at SS and Turner at 2B.

I think this is right on there Duke. Although Frazier is striking out a bit too much, he improved that after being in rookie ball. Seems like he is on a freight train to Chattanooga before the seaons is over.
As for Turner, all he does is hit whereever he goes. His walk to strikeout ratio is very, very good. We need more and more contact hitters like this moving up the ladder to demonstrate that it isn't all about home runs.
Heisey has also been impressive.
