Ben (Centerville, OH): Best pick for the Reds at #7: Aaron Hicks, Eric Hosmer, Tim Melivlle, or Christian Friedrich?
Jim Callis: (2:06 PM ET ) Ben is back as always with a slew of Reds questions . . . Hosmer is the best player in that group, easy call for me. Still uncertain how this plays out, but the Reds could wind up with Aaron Crow at No. 7.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Ethan (San Fran): What do you expect from Janish (just called up to the Reds)?
Jim Callis: (2:55 PM ET ) More glove than bat, don't think he'll hit enough to be a regular. Poor Jeff Keppinger, though.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Jay (Santa Barbara): Jim, I'm an still simply dumbfounded at how you think Jay Bruce will be better than Ryan Braun. By the way, any word on when Bruce will get called up and prove you wrong?
Jim Callis: (2:34 PM ET ) Comparable hitter, better defender, and I'll take the lefty bat over the righty, too. Bruce won't prove me wrong. In terms of getting called up, I guess sometime after he'd qualify for early arbitration. That's the only explanation I can believe for why he wouldn't be up already.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Chris (McDonough, GA): Jason Heyward or Jay Bruce
Jim Callis: (2:53 PM ET ) Bruce.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Darryl in Atlanta: Enough with the chat, You have enough other stuff to do, Fellow Dawg. A real shame about Jeff Keppinger. His bat was hot.
Jim Callis: (3:02 PM ET ) Darryl read my mind on both counts. See you next week!
