Is it the same stadium that MSU uses? Maybe they have some games today, too.

AA: -Josh Roenicke gets his 8th save
-Carlos Fisher goes 2 scoreless. His ERA is now 2.86, and he has a 2.00 GO/FO ratio.
-Mike Griffin goes 3 for 3 with a HBP, 2 runs, raising his avg to .289.
-Craig Tatum goes 2 for 4 with a 2B, and 2 rbi.
-Tonys Gutierez goes 1 for 3 with a 2B, 1 rbi, 1 BB, and 2 runs. He is hitting .342 in AA.
AAA: -Dan Herrera gets his 1st save with a scoreless 9th. He has yet to give up a run in AAA in 121/3 IP
-Jay Bruce goes 2 for 4 with a 2B, and a rbi. On the year he is hitting .352 with a .378 OBP, a .991 OPS, 7 HR, 30 rbi, 8 2B, 4 3B, and 7 SB.
High A: -Raf Gonzales was rocked for 7 runs in 4 IP for the loss
-Ramon Geronim pitched a perfect 9th. His ERA on the year is 0.96.
-Juan Francisco hit 2 HR, had 4 rbi, 2 runs. he is now hitting .308, but still only has 3 BB vs 34 Ks on the year. He does have 7 HR and 30 rbi as a 20 year old in High A though.
-Todd Frazier went 2 for 5 with a 2B, 1 rbi, 2 runs, and a BB. he is hitting .316 in High A with a .364 OBP.
-Dan Dorn went 2 for 4 in his 2nd start back from injury in High A as opposed to AA where there is a serious logjam in the OF.
Low A: -Keltavious Jones went 0 for 3 with 2 BB and a run. He is hittin g.320 with a .407 OBP and 7 SB in Low A. He could be a mid year callup to High A.
-Brandon Waring went 2 for 4 with 2 2B, and 1 K. He is hitting .306 witha .377 OBP.
-Jason Bour went 2 for 4 with 2 2B an rbi, and a run.
-Enerio Del Rosario went 6 IP giving up 1 unearned run on 4 hits, no walks, and 5 Ks. His ERA on the year is 1.13 and he is jsut 22 years old so he could have a future still. Good groundball tendencies, started the year in the pen, but has started his last 4 appearances.

The only thing, and I mean the only thing that Bruce can improve upon are his K and BB numbers. Everything else is out of this world. A 21 year old in AAA that is on pace to hit near 30 home runs is just ridiculous.

I think people are exaggerating his K rate a little bit, just for some cautious optimism.

I think he is at 37 K's vs 11 BB in 39 games. So he is a little under a K a game. About 10 of those were in one bad 5 game stretch too.

And considering his OBP and BA as well as SLG% I think 1 K per game is not that bad. His swing appears to be fairly complete. He can use all fields well. God help me I'm getting really excited about this kid. I think at this point he is an upgrade over Griffey and maybe we should think about moving KGJ even if we can't get Clement for him....
