I mean when you look at hsi history he traded away alot of young talented kids to get proven Vets. The problem is we are not in the same market type as the Cards. I am worried he might start trading away young talent like bailey, Bruce and others to get proven vets.
I for one dont like that.

Don't forget that Daric Barton was part of that Mulder/Haren trade.
THAT trade scares the crap outta me. I really think Kriv was about to reap the rewards of his work...
That said Jocko is a proven winner and will probably do more good than harm.

With the exception of the Haren/Barton deal all the rest have been major wins for him.
I don't think when he was with the Cards he made a habit of dealing top 10 in baseball prospects or even ones with bright futures.
There were alot involved in those deals that ended up doing really nothing at the ML level.
That being said the Haren/Barton deal makes The Trade look good.
