Homer Bailey had another excellent week going 2-0 with a 1.32 ERA 132/3 IP with 7 ks vs 2 BB
Daryl Thompson keeps on trucking right along goin 1-0 in 2 starts with 12 Ks vs 0 BB and a 1.54 ERA on the week in 112/3 IP
Jordan Smith with yet another quality start in High A, getting with win going 6 IP with 1 ER and 5 Ks.
Josh Roenicke, Pedro Viola, Phil Valliquette, Ramon Geronimo, and Jeff Jeffords all had quality weeks out of the pen.
Jay Bruce tore up AAA this week hitting .360 with 1 HR, 6 rbi, 3 runs, 2 SB, a SF, and a parteridge in a pear tree.
Todd Frazier and Brandon Waring both had ice cold weeks, though Waring did manage 2 HR and 6 rbi to go w2ith his .179 avg, and Frazier did have 5 runs despite hitting .200.
Juan Francisco has been on fire as of late and last week hit .300 with 2 HR, and a 2B.
All Mike Griffin does is just hit. He was .320 last week with 4 2B and a SB
Adam Rosales may be starting to turn around his ice cold start hitting .273 last week
Justin Turner has been on fire and hit .500 in 6 games last week with 3 2B, a 3B, and 0 K's in 6 games last week raising his season avg up to .385
The same with Keltavious Jones who hit .423 with 1 2B, 3 3B, 1 HR, and 2 SB last week leading off for Dayton. He is hitting .378 on the year with a .451 OBP and only 5 ks in 45 at bats (51 PA)
