What are we doing with Lotzkar, Ravin, and Mesoraco?
Are they just sitting at home watching Oprah and eating bon bons? Working out in extended spring training? Or what?

5 innings 4 hits 2 bb 6 K's 0 runs
So far 2 starts 9.2 innings 12 k's 0 runs. They have him on a ptich count and I understand that but you got to love the way this kid is pitching. If he gets all the way back he jumps into the top 100 prospect pitcture

Stubbs after 10 games
10 games 10 runs 7 SB 5 bb 10 k's 0 Hr's
The power is not there yet but this is a guy who hit 12 hr's hurt last year so he has 20 hr power. I am really happy with the SB's though. 7 for 7 that tells me the foot is finally healthy. Thepower will come but this is a great start by Stubbs.

He was at 100 prior to the season, but the sky seems to be the limit.

Personally, i don't care if Stubbs ever hits a home run, I want a true leadoff hitter that can steal 50 bases, hit .300 and have a .400 OBP. If he does that then I don't care about the power. His OBP is at .452.

Carson Kainer playing 1B tonight in Sarasota. Interesting as I have always heard of him as soley an OF'er. Valaika and Francisco continue to rake as well, and Heisey has been pretty solid too.

Better stuff, better mindset.

I usaully don't like gimmick pitchers (except for knuckleballers), but Dan Herrera has been unhittable in AA so far. His soft tossing offspeed stuff (especially his plus plus screwball) might be a good compliment in what seems to be our power arm filled pen the next few years (Cordero, Burton, Roenicke, Bray)
