Single-A Sarasota's Juan Francisco went 2-for-4 with a homer in Friday's game. Francisco doubled three times off Francisco Liriano in the first game of the season for Sarasota and hasn't cooled off since. He's batting .385 with two homers and seven doubles in 39 at-bats. Less attractive is his 9/0 K/BB ratio. He has power to spare, but he finished with a 161/23 K/BB ratio in 534 at-bats in low-A ball last year.

If Dunn and Griffey are moving on after this year, then the Reds are going to need some power hitters sooner rather than later. What I love about Francisco is that as a switch hitter, he brings power from both sides. Some SH's are really a hitter who is good a one side nad passable on the other, but Francisco has shown legit 40 HR potential from both sides.
