Help me out here.
I can't seem to find the page that gives the probable minor league starting pitchers for the day. Do either of you guys have an MILB link for that?
Thanks!!

Question #2....
I live on the Eastern Shore of Maryland really close to the stadium of the Delmarva Shorebirds of the South Atlantic League..low A ball. Went with the family to the game last night, and we try to go at least 2 or 3 times a month. What teams or players do you recommend us not missing. Unless it is a hyped prospect I really just go off draft order until I see them in person. I guess Augusta may be good cause the Giants drafted some high school kids high last year, any more suggestions or advice?
No hurry, and thanks in advance!

If you go to the Reds official page and go to the Rosters section, their is a minor league affiliates section, and there are links to all the MiLB team pages for every Reds affiliated team. They usually have all the probably up at some part of the day. Also if you look at the schedule, they are usually pretty good about going in order of their rotation and no one pitches extra like Harang does for the Reds.
On a positive note, Daryl Thompsons third start is tomorrow.

The Orioles don't have the best farm system and their top pick in last year's draft Matt Wieters has skipped Delmarva. Here's the best of the bunch according to the Baseball America Handbook. Former Ohio State outfielder Matt Angle is #24. He's an intriguing player, because he's a legitimate centerfielder and has very strong leadoff hitter skills. Last year, he hit .301 and posted an OBP of .421. He's a very skilled bunter and has good instincts on the bases. Outfielder Kieron Pope is #30, but likely has the tools to climb the ladder if he can stay healthy. Pope is healthy for the 1st time in two years and the Orioles are excited by his power. He projects as a good defensive leftfielder, but needs to get the bat on the ball more often to utilize his power. Shortstop/3rd baseman Tyler Henson is #22. Henson has a nice package of skills, but was overmatched last year and may be behind the development curve because of his multi-sport play in high school. Still, the O's are intrigued. Lefthanded starter Zach Britton is #21. Britton is a former 3rd round pick who throws a low 90s fastball, a curveball, a new sharp breaking slider, and a developing changeup. Those seem to be the best bets for the Shorebirds. If it was me, I'd be watching Angle closely, as that's the kind of player I like. He could be a Reggie Willits type leadoff hitter. Players like that are in short supply these days, so he's intriguing.

Thanks Lark! Angle led off last night. Was wondering about the visiting teams mostly. Well, that is a tough one. I do know that Angel Villalona plays for the Augusta Green Jackets. He's 17 years old and is the Giants #1 rated prospect. He's like our Juan Duran, so I'd definitely give him a look. He's an elite prospect. Dellin Betances pitches for the Charlestown RiverDogs, he might be worth a look. That's about the best I could come up with, though Charlestown and Augusta both play in the Southern SAL, so I'm not sure how often or even if they play Delmarva.

They each come up here once, and Augusta is in August and we already got tickets to one game. Did not know yet that Betances was in SAL though. Glad to hear he is healthy and pitching again...even if he will be a future Yankee.
Zack Britton pitched Friday night when we went and did well. Did not know about him as a prospect till I read your previous post.
Just taking the kids and going to games and having fun is the main thing, but seeing top prospects is an added bonus at least for me. Wish the Reds had a team in this league!
