His OPS through 6 games is 1.816. I know its only 6 games, but still, 1.816.
Here is his line through the first 6 games:
.471 avg. .640 OBP 3 2B 3 HR 5 rbi 8 runs 1 SB
I said it before the year, he will be a top 25 prospects before the year is done, and could very well end this year in AA.

Imagine if he can somehow stick at Short...if that happens he is a top 10 overall prospect.
I think in time though he is moved to 3rd or the OF but we shall see.
Waring is showing he can still hit for Power with the move up in talent as well.

I don't doubt Warings power at all, but the Ks are an issue still, but you can't deny that he is producing (especially with Frazier to drive in). here is his line through the first 6 games:
.409 avg .458 OBP 3 HR 7 rbi 6 run 2 BB 8 Ks 1.277 OPS .818 slg
Of his 9 hits, he has the 3 Hr, and the remaining 6 are all singles. Fraziers 8 hits are 3 HR, 3 2B, and 2 1B. Frazier only has 17 at bats because of the 8 walks.
Another impressive thing about Frazier is tha the has K'ed only once in teh first 6 games, while walking 8 times.

8Ks through 6 games at low A Yikes! Justin Reed has 13 ks in 25 at bats, and he is supposed to be a leadoff hitter type.

8Ks through 6 games at low A Yikes! Justin Reed has 13 ks in 25 at bats, and he is supposed to be a leadoff hitter type. Late count hitters strikeout a decent amount. Reggie Willits struck out quite a bit, but was a tremendous leadoff hitter in 2007. Hopefully his strikeout rate drops a bit as the sample size increases, but strikeouts aren't the end of the world.
