I guess I will start the minor league thread tonight!
My favorite 2 pitching prospects are going tonight.
For Louisville tonight: Homer Bailey
My favorite pitching prospect is Daryl Thompson. Going for the Lookouts tonight.
Bruce was 2-5 yesterday with a HR and triple + 3RBI
Today he is already 1-1 1double + 1RBI
Bailey 2IP 2H 1BB 1SO 0ER after 2
Thompson 4IP 1H 1BB 5SO 0ER after 4

How hard is Thompson's fastball? What are his offspeed pitches and how do they rate?
Take it away Duke...

How hard is Thompson's fastball? What are his offspeed pitches and how do they rate? Take it away Duke... If I am right.. His fastball is around 92-94...He also has a changeup and curve. Star,Lark, or Duke could probably add a little more. Thompson gets a ND tonight after finishing after 6IP. Fisher came in the next inning and gave up 3runs. Homer Baily still pitching well! 5IP 4H 1BB 6SO 0ER 82pitches/57strikes 5:4 GO:FO

He didn't even crack BA Top 30 Reds prospects because of concerns about his stuff not rebounding from injury. He performed well last year, but reports were that his velocity had not come back yet. Before the injury, he had a 92-94 MPH fastball, an average changeup, and an average curveball that had the potential to be a plus pitch. But, I don't know what he's got in 2008.

He sure has hell has something that is keeping AA batters off the bases. I wonder if he was just a throwin to the Trade or if Krivsky requested him. It has seemed that Krivsky has an eye for obscure talent, and this may be another case of Krivsky getting something for nothing.

Dragons win 5-4 with 2 HR's by Frazier and 1 HR for Waring, both with 3 on the year now. Frazier is hitting ,412, Waring is hitting .409.

In his first two starts Thompson has outpitched both Wade Davis and Rick Porcello, both of whom are in BA's top 25 prospects overall.
