Well, despite them saying they hope he can return this season, i'm thinking he's out for the year. That sucks hard after such a good rookie season. Looks like everyday PT for India at 2B.

McLain may be the next Senzel. Senzel broke his thumb in warmups with the Nationals off a batted ball, was pulled from the lineup. Senzel just can't catch a break. I hope this is McLain's last serious injury and from here on out will be an every day player that stays healthy. Candelario wasn't worth the contract, but kind of glad he is here to provide leadership and depth as Friedl, McLain and Marte are out for a while.

Fortunately for McLain, and unlike Senzel, he is good.

Doesn't matter if he is Joe Morgan if he can't stay on the field.

Jonny India or McLain. Both are ML caliber ballers. This is Jonny's year I guess, when they thought there India would be playing all around the diamond. Looks like he in at 2b all season. If Mclain's injury goes well, then maybe India can show off his defensive skills, which is the thing that, for the most part, differentiates him from McClain. Can Indian learn the angles in CF?
Not bad situation to have for a few years, Especially if you don't have the OF talent like the Reds, I guess.

I went and saw the Reds pathetic outing on Friday and neither India nor CES looked like big league hitters. Weak ineffectual ground out after weak ineffectual ground out.
